Currently, she brings her expertise from more than 35 years as an educator, state education leader, and superintendent to her role as Senior Advisor to the President at the University of Tulsa providing focused strategic support for innovative approaches to teaching and learning and developing transformational leaders. She also serves various national organizations as a superintendent in residence, leadership coach, and strategic advisor, applying her expertise to support educational and corporate growth and improvement.
Dr. Gist lives in her beloved hometown of Tulsa, Oklahoma with her family and numerous rescue animals and enjoys spending time planning her next adventure.
